September Respect:
Treat others with respect; follow the Golden Rule, be tolerant and accepting of differences, use good manners, not bad language, be considerate of the feelings of others, don’t threaten, hit or hurt anyone, deal peacefully with anger, insults, and disagreements.
Courage October:
Doing the right thing in face of difficulty and following your conscience instead of the crowd. Also, it means telling the truth regardless of consequences, facing daily challenges and handling them bravely, facing fears and using self-control to overcome them, learning from mistakes or setbacks while showing resiliency.
Citizenship: November
Do your share to make your school and community better, Cooperate ,Get involved in community affairs, Stay informed, vote, be a good neighbor, Obey laws and rules, Respect authority, Protect the environment, Volunteer
Compassion: December
Compassion means feeling what others are feeling especially when they are feeling pain or sadness. When we act with compassion, we show kindness. We show understanding. We try to make others feel better. We put others before ourselves.
Respect for Others: January
Accepting differences and the uniqueness of others and celebrating the common ground we share.
Fairness: February
Means you play by the rules, take turns and share, be open-minded; listen to others don’t take advantage of others, don’t blame others carelessly, treat all people fairly.
Honesty: March
Honesty is about being truthful in what you say and in what you do and telling the truth (not lying), not hiding the truth (deceiving), and acting in a way that is morally right (not stealing, cheating).
Self-Respect: April
Pride and belief in oneself and in achievement of one’s potential
Perseverance: May
Perseverance is the ability and self-control that pushes you to work through challenges. Having perseverance means that when you are facing a challenge, you use your mind and your body to overcome it.
