Drop off: 7:00 AM
For student safety, do not drop off earlier than 7:00 am.  There is no adult supervisoin before that time
Breakfast Served: 7:00 - 7:35 AM
Classrooms Open: 7:15 AM
Tardy At: 7:45 AM
Dismissal Begins: 2:00 PM
     Walkers and Car Riders MUST be picked up between 2:15-2:45 PM
 
 No Check Out
after 1:45 PM

OUR PROGRAM

Montclair Elementary School, home of the Mustangs, is a public elementary school located in Brookhaven, GA. We are a diverse learning community committed to providing our students with an impactful and high-quality educational experience. Therefore, we strive to maintain an educational program dedicated to creating life-long learners who excel to their individual potential. At Montclair Elementary School, all staff, students, parents and community members are an integral part of the success of every student!

Montclair Elementary strives to inspire high expectations and academic excellence for every learner through the implementation of strategic instructional models, active professional learning communities, and instrumental stakeholder engagement within our school.

2022-2023

Ms. Vivian Jackson is Montclair's Teacher of the Year.

Ms. Linda Crook is Montclair's Support Professional of the Year I.

Ms. Lois Mayes is Montclair's Support Professional of the Year II.

 
             At  Montclair Elementary School we believe in celebrating our successes.    We make every effort to acknowledge students and staff daily. Teachers  and staff are recognized for their accomplishments in promoting student  success and professional advancement in the area of education.
 
              We  also hold two awards ceremonies. At the end of each semester students are recognized for achievements such as Principal's Honor Roll,  Montclair's Honor Roll, Academic Achievement, Most Improved, Academic  Recognition, Accelerated Reading and Math, Citizenship, and Perfect  Attendance.  Other subjects such as spelling, science, social studies,  music and art are also given recognition.
 
             Academic Activities  include: Spelling Bee, GeographyBee and Reading Bowls, Round Robin Math Competition, Book  It!, music and dance productions, and various writing and visual arts  contests.
